Bio/Interest
My clinical interests focus on speech/language assessment and intervention with young children who have varied types of communication disorders, including speech sound disorders, pervasive developmental disorders, and Down syndrome. Academically, I have focused on developing clinical education programs for graduate students in speech/language pathology. Most recently, I have worked with faculty from the Communication Science & Disorders Department to develop a curriculum for a clinical doctorate in medical speech/language pathology and to refine requirements for Pennsylvania Certification in Speech/Language Impaired in line with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements.
