Pedal 2 DC 4 DS 6 Day Ride
Pedal 2 DC 4 DS is an organized bike ride from Meyersdale, PA to Washington, DC in support of the Down Syndrome Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. This year’s ride is organized by former LEND trainee and current Children’s Hospital Nurse Educator for Same Day Surgery/PACU, Pam DeGeorge. The bike ride begins on Sunday, July 15 and ends on Friday, July 20. Each day’s ride is between 32 and 42 miles and the cost to ride $862, which includes lodging each night of the trip and most meals. The ride occurs during the week of the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) annual convention, held in Washington, DS. To register, contact Gail Hall at 301-722-4887.
