Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey OPEN HOUSE

Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey operates therapeutic and competitive ice hockey programs for the benefit of  individuals with disabilities in Pennsylvania and adjacent areas. The Mighty Penguins was founded by a former LEND Trainee, Angie McCoy, to create an opportunity for her son, Dan McCoy, and many others to experience the thrill of participating in a team sport. The Mighty Penguins are searching for more players to join their team and with the assistance of LEND Trainees and the University of Pittsburgh, they have organized an event for all interested in the sport. The event will take place on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 from 5pm-9pm at the Bladerunner Ice Complex in Harmarville. The event will host those interested in playing or simply learning more about sled hockey and how the Mighty Penguins came to be. Refreshments will be provided. Please sign up by clicking on the link below. We hope to see you there!
