LEND Alumni, Sarah Heinzl, Wins Silver in Women's Handcycle Division of PGH Marathon, Among Other Achievements!

Sarah says, "I swore before the marathon I would never do another one, and now I am trying to find the next one! I am officially addicted."

Sarah Heinzl's athletic abilities know no bounds, which she proved when she finished the Pittsburgh Marathon on Sunday, May 3, with a time of 2:59:32.  She won silver in the Women's Handcycle division and was placed 22nd overall among all the runners in the 26.2 mile event.  She had an impressive pace time of 5:45 until she reached Oakland where a cycle malfunction caused some challenges, but she quickly got back into the race and finished with a pace time of 6:50.  Congratulations Sarah!
